Katharina accompanied the Swiss State Visit to China in the Scientific Delegation from April 6th until April 10th 2016.
In presence of both heads of state, Johann Schneider-Ammann and Xi Jinping, she signed a Memorandum of Understanding in her role as vice-president of the Research Council of SNSF with her Chinese counterpart from the Natural Science Foundation of China (NSFC).
